Eagle Institute Afterschool Karate Club - Terms and Conditions
1. Health and Safety

General Health: Parents/guardians are responsible for informing the club of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect their child’s class participation. This information will be used solely to ensure your child's safety and well-being during training.

Injury or Illness: If your child is unwell or injured, they should not attend class. If your child becomes unwell during class, we will notify you, and immediate collection will be required.
2. Behaviour Expectations

Respect and Discipline: All students are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, peers, and club property. Karate promotes discipline, and this behaviour must be reflected both in and out of the dojo.

Disruptive Behaviour: Any aggressive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in disciplinary actions, including suspension from the class. Repeated behaviour issues may lead to exclusion.

Bullying: The club has a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying. Parents will be informed of any incidents, and necessary actions will be taken.
3. Attendance and Punctuality

Regular Attendance: Students are expected to attend regularly to ensure progress in their training. Consistent attendance is necessary for skill development.

Punctuality: Children should arrive on time and be ready to start class promptly. Parents/guardians must ensure timely collection of their child at the end of each session.
4. Supervision and Collection

Parental Responsibility: The club is only responsible for students during the scheduled class time. Parents must ensure timely drop-off and pick-up of their children.

Late Collection: Any late collection of children must be communicated in advance. The club may impose a fee for repeated late pick-ups.
5. Liability and Insurance

Club’s Responsibility: Eagle Institute Karate Club is responsible for ensuring the safety of students during classes by maintaining appropriate health and safety standards. However, the club will not be liable for accidents resulting from student negligence or failure to follow instructions.

Personal Liability: The club is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings. Students are advised to leave valuables at home.
6. Health Protocols

Sick Policy: If your child exhibits symptoms of illness, they should not attend class. Parents will be contacted for immediate collection if a child becomes unwell during the session.
